The best gymnast in Brown's history will be heading to Beijing this summer. USA Gymnastics announced Thursday that Alicia Sacramone '10 has been chosen as one of six athletes who will compete for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team for women's gymnastics.

The Brown women's crew team won its second consecutive NCAA championship June 1 on Lake Natoma, near Sacramento, Calif. The title was the sixth overall for Head Coach John Murphy, who also won the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association's Coach of the Year award.
